Okay it's finally happened. Waking up at 4:30 every week day for the passed several months has finally paid off. I've got the first chapter of the first draft online. I'm really looking forward to getting some constructive criticism. I'm about 3/4 done with the first draft of the novel and looking back at what I wrote in the first chapter is a little painful but they say the first thing you write is always crap. They also say DO NOT go back and rewrite your first chapter until you've finished the first draft or all you will do is rewrite the first chapter and never finish your story. Wow, it really has been awhile. Where to start, first off I am no longer at vampiratestudios.com. I decided to do the squarespace thing and have moved to a much nicer location at; https://madmeon.com In case you are wondering where the name comes from, Meons are the little frog / manta ray critters they keep popping up in my art. They also have tiny, volatile tempers and are prone to adorable outbursts. I am currently writing my F@nService novella, haha sounds kind of like a Spanish soap opera but I looked up the definition and at 40,000 words that's what it will be when it's finished. Sorry it's been a long time since I updated the website. The way it was built before made it very difficult to update without calling and bothering my programmer friend. That and I wasn't too crazy about the name.
